‘A look at our history through scene and song’
Glimpses is a series of exciting and entertaining vignettes, suitable for all ages, depicting interesting events in the history of this area.
Penned by members of the cast, this original live theatre presentation has been described as the most entertaining local history lesson you’re ever likely to witness. In all, it is a thought provoking experience with many emotional ups and downs and is complemented by some very relevant slides.
“This show alone was worth visiting Nova Scotia for” (S.B. Pretoria, South Africa.)
The 100 seat, air-conditioned theatre is extremely comfortable and the wonderful narration, action, music and singing, make it ‘not to be missed’ entertainment for the whole family.
Glimpses has now become an integral part of visitors experience of Lunenburg County, but has also been enjoyed and supported by many local folk, which in itself is a huge testament of its popularity.
If you have yet to experience Glimpses, try to catch a performance this year and see for yourself what the Summer Troupe has to offer. You won’t be disappointed.
